You may not be aware of it, but February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) month. Schools across the nation are celebrating the successes of their students and staff in CTE programs. At Scott Regional Technology Center, we are proud of the students and staff who make up our CTE institution and want to thank them for their hard work and dedication to CTE. Most high schools in this area have CTE classes in business, family and consumer science, and agriculture. The rest of the CTE classes students take are typically at a career and technical center like Scott Tech. With fourteen different programs from which to choose Scott Tech has a class for everyone to gain career and technical skills. The following is some information about CTE from the website of the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE).
