  Cub Pride
Student Focused...Future Driven

Message from the District Office:
Dr. Jeff Carr, Board of Education Member

First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time out of his or her busy schedule to go out and vote in this year’s school board election.  I want to give special thanks to those constituents who had enough faith in me to cast a vote in my direction.  I will do my best to represent the voice and sentiment of this community.
I am not a native of Monett.  I was born and raised a Houn Dawg in Aurora.  I attended SMSU and Park College for my undergraduate studies after high school.  I then continued my education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City where I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree.  I married my wife, Kelley, two weeks out of college, and we moved to Tulsa to start our careers.  When we were making more permanent decisions about our future, we decided to move back to this area.  I took an associate position with Dr. Jerry Weber here in Monett in 1994.  Kelley and I took several things into consideration when making the decision to live in Monett versus our hometown of Aurora.  With children in our near-future plans, the school district...

The services provided through speech and language therapy by our SLP staff are an asset to our district as well as our community.  The benefits of speech and language intervention for our students with speech and/or language impairments help them make stronger connections both academically and socially.
The goal of our department is to facilitate...

CTA Finalizes for 2016-2017 School Year:

Teachers quietly take care of students and each other everyday.  We form relationships with our students that last a lifetime.  At the same time, we also are learning from each other, growing together, and walking side by side in the trenches while sharing a deep passion that only those in the profession can truly understand. Teacher appreciation week is just around the corner, and it is a great time to thank an educator who has made a difference in your world.
The Monett Community of Teachers Association (CTA) works year round in various ways to ensure that we support and serve the many wonderful members of our amazing district.  This week our recognition committee will select our district Teacher of the Year from the previously nominated  Campus Teachers of the Year. Additionally, we raise funds each year to support...
